Course Details
The Experience
Step into the studio and explore the craft of leatherwork in a beginner-friendly setting. Guided by Basäder founder Elin Johansson Antonelli, you’ll work in a calm, creative environment surrounded by natural light and premium materials.
Tools & Techniques
Discover the essential tools and materials used in traditional leathercraft. Learn how to handle premium vegetable-tanned leather using both classic and refined, pared-back methods developed through years of studio practice.
The Making Process
Work hands-on through each step of crafting your own leather accessories. You’ll cut, glue, edge finish, and saddle stitch by hand while building confidence in each technique.
The Outcome
Complete the class with a handcrafted keychain and cardholder you’ve made yourself. You’ll leave with a strong foundation in leatherwork and the skills to continue exploring more advanced projects.
